We need card dealers.....

Do you know how to deal poker?

Boise Community Radio has agreed to staff a company holiday party for a local title company
in exchange for a donation! We are looking for 5 card players who can volunteer next Friday night, Nov. 30 to deal cards for a few hours.

We had a great time doing this a couple of years back...

Don't forget about our Practice New Year's Eve Party Dec. 1

After tonight's show, I was chatting with the hot dog vendor who was cooking me a Louisiana Red Hot. He told a great story about living in NOLA. He was playing his guitar on his porch one day on the edge of the 9th ward. A kid came up and asked to play the guitar. The hot dog vendor told me he let the kid play but then the cops pulled up. The hot dog vendor said he didn't know the kid. Presumably to not get hassled by the cops. The cops then took the kid and his girlfriend away. About an hour later the kid showed up again. The hot dog vendor asked what happened and the kid said, "The cops said if I narked on the big dealers then they would give me my own drugs to sell."

Apologies to John Kennedy Toole.

We filed with the FCC a couple of weeks ago for our transmitter license. The FCC received the most data in this filing window ever (it has been 7 years since the last one). I hope we get in!
